We endeavor to be a community where people encounter God’s powerful presence.
Next Sunday, August 30th, we will be celebrating our kiddos moving up into new grades at school, and here at church as well!
To celebrate and commemorate, please wear your flip-flops or open-toed shoes to church (hey; we’re a laid-back bunch!) and if possible, bring a dish to share after church for our potluck lunch!
During service we will worship with our amazing and vibrant Kidz Refuge band and all of the kiddos. The sermon will be a special one brought to us by leaders of the children’s ministry. This should be a fun and inspiring Sunday!
After service we want to eat together as a family- We will provide grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, and share lots of salads, fruits, veggies, and desserts that everyone brings from home. Excited to see you there!
We have a bunch of faithful people who serve our littlest ones every Sunday! …but what do we do when more and more little ones attend every Sunday and we feel unequipped?
Shouting out for some helpers:
What we really need is more loving people to help out in the Den (the nursery) on (pick one) 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays, and some helpers on 3rd Sundays in the Train Station. We are also hoping to start a 30 minute mini-class for the two and three year-olds each Sunday.
If you can help in one of these slots, we would be SO grateful! Please talk to Renee to get involved!
Vacation Bible School was awesome! The kids had a great time and our volunteers were truly servants to the little ones. Thanks to everyone!
